Dress Code

*Dancers MUST “Cover-up” when traveling in/out of the studio
*For the safety of all dancers jewelry/accessories are NOT recommended for all classes
*Hair must be pulled up/back out of the dancers face for all classes
*Panties are not to be worn under tights
*Undergarments should not be visible for all classes
*Please put your name in ALL dancewear/shoes to avoid confusion of belongings

Tiny Tots/Pre-K Ballet/Tap Combo

Classes require…

  • Pink Footed Tights – (convertible recommended) (no prints/patterns/characters, dress panty hose, etc)
  • Solid Black Leotard – (both attached/detached skirts are NOT acceptable for class nor are “dress up” items)
  • Cover up’s are recommended for travel in and out of the studio but will be removed for class
  • Pink Ballet Shoes – So Danca SD60 (color name “light pink” – split sole leather ballet shoe w/ crisscross elastic)
  • Black Tap shoes – So Danca TA35 (color black with snap elastic) NO laces, Velcro or buckles
  • Hair must be pulled up/back out of the dancers face and up off shoulders secured

Beg/Int/Adv Ballet/Pointe

Classes require…

  • Pink Footed Tights – (convertible recommended) (no prints/patterns/characters, etc)
  • Solid Black Leotard – (both attached/detached skirts are NOT acceptable for class nor are “dress up” items)
  • Cover up’s are required for travel in and out of the studio but will be removed for class
  • Pink Ballet Shoes – So Danca SD60 (color name “light pink” – split sole leather ballet shoe w/ crisscross elastic)
  • Hair must be pulled up/back out of the dancers face and up off shoulders secured (Int/Adv require a bun)

Beg/Int/Adv Tap

Classes require…

  • Casual attire – Leggings or shorts with t-shirts or tanks recommended. Clothing must be flexible so not to restrain the dancers movements (NO Jeans, skirts, pajamas, hats, glasses, fashion accessories, inappropriate logos/slogans or inappropriate revealing attire, etc)
  • Hair must be pulled up/back out of the dancers face and up off shoulders secured
  • Black Lace up tap shoes – Bloch Audeo 381 hard sole – color black

(NO Sync/Mega “sharp edges/squared taps” allowed. ALL tap shoes MUST be approved by Cindy)

Beg/Int/Adv Jazz, Lyrical, S&S and L&T

Classes require…

  • Form fitted attire – (Int/Adv require black leotard and black shorts)
  • Cover up’s are required for travel in and out of the studio
  • Socks, Bare foot or split-sole slip-on jazz shoes are allowed – So Danca JZ43 jazz shoe – Color name “caramel”
  • Jazz shoes will be needed for recital from Beginning 3 Levels & up
  • (See Cindy before purchasing as a specific color “caramel or black” may be needed for Int 3 & Adv)
  • Hair must be pulled up/back out of the dancers face and up off shoulders secured

Beg/Int/Adv Hip Hop

Classes require…

  • Casual attire – Leggings or shorts with t-shirts or tanks recommended. Clothing must be flexible so not to restrain the dancers movements (NO Jeans, skirts, pajamas, hats, glasses, fashion accessories, inappropriate logos/slogans or inappropriate revealing attire, etc)
  • Hair must be pulled up/back out of the dancers face and up off shoulders secured
  • Sneakers/tennis shoes required– (NO light up shoes, wheelys, boots, sandals/flip flops, etc)

Black tennis shoes will be needed for recital for ALL levels (solid black -no logos or color trims)
